We Asked Matt To Tell Us About Himself
Hello there!
I am HMG Creative’s SEO Strategist. I started my marketing journey with a degree in English from SUNY Buffalo and now have nearly a decade of experience in digital marketing. As an SEO, I make it easier for relevant users to find our clients in search engine results, thereby increasing our clients’ qualified traffic and driving tangible results. I’m also a part-time professor of digital marketing, serving at various universities in the central time zone. I specialize in teaching marketing, SEO, and web design/development to students across the country.
What are you most passionate about?
I like to spend my free time hiking with my wife and dogs. We love to explore the greenbelts of Austin and go swimming in Barton Creek. I also love gaming because it gives me an outlet to be cooperative or brutally competitive. I have competed in major esports tournaments online and in person, mostly for Hearthstone. I have also led 40 person groups through some of the most challenging raids in World of Warcraft.
Who would you say your role model is? Why?
The Doom Slayer, because he is an unrelenting force of good that always gets the job done. He also has the best personal soundtrack.
What fictional character do you relate to the most? Why?
Annie/Starlight from The Boys, because I probably would have made pretty much all of the same decisions if I were in her place.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
The deepest part of the Mariana Trench because it’s the most metal place on the planet.
Why did you choose to work for HMG?
