#TeamTuesday – Dave Debus

According to Dictionary.com, his last name means “to get out of a bus” and we’re oh so happy that “Debus” stopped here. Meet our email marketing developer, Dave Debus!

Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, Dave studied Illustration and Graphic Design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. After leaving the sunshine state, Dave moved to the great city of Austin. In December of 2015, Dave began working for HMG Creative as the email marketing developer and has loved it here since. At work Dave is known for creating top of the line email marketing campaigns, but also known for his recommendations for the best food joints in Austin. #TeamTuesday – Ian Wilson

Our favorite Austinite believes aliens are out there somewhere, yet not truly living because they don’t have tacos in their lives.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Ian Wilson joined the HMG Creative team as a designer and developer. Though that’s what it says on his business card, he helps out with a little bit of everything in the office. Ian attended The University of Texas at Austin and studied Advertising. In his last few years, he was one of the lucky few to be accepted and finish Texas Creative, one of the hardest Advertising programs in the country. GO IAN! He has a great sense of humor, believes his spirit animal is a squirrel and is a great addition to any team. Continue…

Austin BBQ on the GO!

Barbecue is big part of life if you live in Austin, TX. If you search the web for top Austin BBQ spots, you’ll get plenty of lists from places like Eater or Do512. Everyone knows that places like Franklin, La Barbecue, Micklethwait, Mueller, Kerlin, Brown’s and Valentina’s are amazing. However, they can also be inaccessible because of (very) long lines and are often subject to selling out early. Finding parking at these places can also be impossible. Perhaps you can’t get up at 7am to wait 4-5 hours in line for lunch. I know I can’t, at least not very often.

That’s why this list is a little different. This is for folks on the go! Continue…

#TeamTuesday – Maxx Wright

He may only be here for a short amount of time, but we still consider him part of the team! HMG Creative would like to introduce our new intern Maxx Wright.

Maxx is entering his senior year of high school at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School. Before leaving for college, hopefully at the University of Colorado Boulder, he came to HMG Creative to get a head start in his career path. Originally from Cuero, Texas, Maxx moved to Austin about six years ago and has loved it ever since. He loves having unlimited access to live music, great parks and trails for biking and hiking on nice days. Continue…
